NBA Jelenia Góra wins U16 tournament
NBA Jelenia Góra wins U16 tournament
The first match of the tournament offered an exciting duel between the home team BK Brandýs nad Labem and the Ukrainian team SCC Ploskyriv . Brandýs lost several points in the score throughout the match and eventually lost to the Ukrainian team by five points. In the second match, the Polish team NBA Jelenia Góra almost drove the Czech team Vlci Žďár nad Sázavou to the forests, where wolves usually live. The last match of the first round was the Slovak derby between the teams MBK Karlovka Bratislava and BK Pezinok . The team from the capital of Slovakia was more successful, determining the tone of the match in the first quarter, where they gained a double-digit lead. On Friday, another interesting match took place, when the home team Brandýs nad Labem tested the future winner of the NBA Jelenia Góra . Who would have expected any drama when the difference was almost twenty points at halftime. However, Brandýs decided not to give his skin away cheaply and finished powerfully, but he did not have enough time to turn the game around and so he lost by a margin of eight points.
Further dramas were offered only on Sunday morning, where Karlovka, who played a decent match with the NBA on Saturday afternoon, showed their best performance of the tournament and defeated the Ukrainian team SCC Ploskyriv . This match really messed up the table for us and the order in second to fourth place was decided by a mini-table of three teams. Brandýs performed best here, winning silver, bronze goes to Ukraine and the "potato medal" was left for Karlovka. The NBA Jelenia Góra won gold after a smooth win over the Slovak team BK Pezinok .

BC Swiss Krono Žary wins U15 tournament
BC Swiss Krono Žary wins U15 tournament
The home team BC Swiss Krono Žary faced the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves in the first match of the tournament. Vienna surprised the home team with an active game and gained a small lead after the first quarter. The home team then took over and gained a solid lead in the rest of the match. In the last quarter, Vienna significantly reduced the home team's lead, but they could not find the strength to break the deadlock. In the second match, the German team Young Rasta Dragons practically decided the fate of the match with the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball in the first quarter, when they created a double-digit lead. In the last match of the first round, the selected team of the Central Bohemian region CB Basketball played against the Polish team Jura Basket TS Wisła . A very even match, where the lead was flowing from side to side, was eventually won by the Czech team. CB Basketball was also in another even match on Friday's program, this time the Czech team was in the lead for three quarters over the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves . In the end, however, they could not maintain their concentration in the last quarter and Vienna won a narrow victory.
Saturday offered only one even match, and that was in the first game of the day, and it was Vienna again. The Austrian team was pulling the "short end of the rope" for three quarters with the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball . In the fourth quarter, they significantly increased the pace and took the game to overtime. In that, Vienna managed to turn the game around and win.
On Sunday, a balanced Polish match between Lublinianka KUL Basketball and Jura Basket TS Wisła was interesting. Lublinianka won this match mainly thanks to a wider rotation of scoring players. The tournament was closed by the home team, which allowed itself to gamble a little with its position in the table in a match with the CB Basketball team. A very balanced and fighting match, where in the end the home team managed to win by a difference of six points and thus confirmed the gold medals.
Final tournament standings:
1. BC Swiss Krono Žary (Poland)

WKK Wroclaw wins the U15 tournament
WKK Wroclaw wins the U15 tournament
Although only five teams participated in the tournament, there was no shortage of drama. The quality of the tournament is certainly evidenced by the fact that three teams that participated in the final tournament last year are starting in this tournament. The home club and its volunteers created a pleasant environment for the tournament.
In the first match, the home team Basketball Talents Potsdam challenged the French team Akdemie Grand Est to a duel. The home team entered the match a little cautiously and the French opponent took full advantage of it when they gained a double-digit lead. They gradually increased this lead despite the strong resistance of the home team and thus took the victory by a higher margin. The Czech team Válečníci Děčín immediately showed in the first match that they did not come to Potsdam just for a trip, when they thoroughly destroyed the Polish team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . The whole match was played in a balanced spirit, Děčín led by five points after the third quarter, but even that was not enough to win. Zastal turned on the high speed in the last quarter and finally defeated Děčín by a margin of eight points. The later winner WKK Wroclaw entered the tournament first with a win over the home team, then "sweated" a little more with the French team, which was an even opponent in the first half.
On Saturday morning, the home team played its best performance of the tournament against Děčín, but it was not enough to win, the Czech team is happy. The last match on Saturday offered a lot of drama. The French team challenged the Polish team Zastal to a duel. After the first quarter, the French team leads by seven points, after the second, the Polish team by twelve points, after the third quarter, the difference is only one point, a game like on a seesaw. In the end, after a great fight, the French team wins.
The French team Akdemie Grand Est had a lot of energy in the last match on Saturday, which the Czech team Válečníci Děčín took full advantage of on Sunday morning. Thanks to a wider rotation and high commitment, the Válečníci gained a valuable victory, which thoroughly mixed up the tournament standings. In the end, the second to fourth place in the tournament had to be decided by the scores from the mutual matches of the three teams. The final result was decided by the closest possible difference of a single point. In the final match of the tournament, Zastal tried to defy fate and mix up the tournament standings. However, WKK had a different opinion and entered the match vigorously in the first quarter and gained a fifteen-point lead. WKK maintained the lead, even slightly increasing it despite Zastal's great effort and emotional behavior, and thus deservedly takes the victory in the tournament.
Final tournament standings:
1. WKK Wroclaw (Poland)
2. Akdemie Grand Est (France)
3. SKM Zastal Zielona Góra (Poland)
4. Válečníci Děčín (Czech Republic)
5. Basketball Talents Potsdam (Germany)

NINERS Chemnitz Academy wins U12 tournament
NINERS Chemnitz Academy wins U12 tournament
Friday's program began with a match between the home team Academy NH Ostrava and the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy . Ostrava entered the match actively and was the better team throughout the first half. The second half was better for the German team, which won by eight points. In the second match, Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków did not give another Polish team UKS MOS Opole a chance to think about winning. The last teams to join the tournament are the BK Inter Bratislava team from Slovakia and AK Orly Wroclaw team from Poland. Inter entered the match better and gained a five-point lead, then the Polish team took the initiative and led the match to a victorious end.
The Ninners play two important matches to determine the overall standings, first after a fight on Friday they defeat Wroclaw and then on Saturday morning they play another fight match with Krakow, in which they also manage to win. The dramatic match took place between Ostrava and Bratislava. Ostrava maintained a small lead of three to five points for the first three quarters, but they could not manage the final and Inter thus obtained the closest possible victory by a difference of one point.
On Sunday, the most interesting match was the even battle for second and third place. It took place between the teams from Krakow and Wroclaw. Wroclaw entered the match better and gained a double-digit lead in the first quarter. Krakow erased Wroclaw's lead point by point and at the end of the third quarter gained a slight lead of one point. However, this cost them a lot of strength and Wroclaw again turned the lead in the match to their side and won by a difference of four points. The players of the NINERS Chemnitz Academy team won the gold medals.

Nitra Blue Wings Academy wins the U14 tournament
Nitra Blue Wings Academy wins the U14 tournament
In the first match of the tournament, the home team WKK Wroclaw will play against the Czech team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek . The entire match was even and quite nervous. In the end, the Czech team showed more composure in the final and won by four points. In the second match, the KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków team relatively easily dealt with another Polish team Kangoo Basket Gorzów Wielkopolski . In the last match of the first round Nitra Blue Wings Academy team laid the foundation for winning the tournament, challenging the Czech team Jížní Supi . The team from Prague took on the opponent with verve as befits and deserves. They kept up with them for three quarters. However, in the last quarter, the Vultures team seemed a little "overcooked" and Nitra gained a decisive lead here.
On Saturday, the dramatic matches took place in the early evening. First, Basketpoint worked hard in a match with the Polish team Kangoo Basket Gorzów Wielkopolski . Then, a dramatic match took place, which thoroughly mixed up the tournament standings. The home team WKK entered the match with the Czech team Jížní Supi very lukewarm, after the first quarter they were losing by an eight-point difference, at halftime the home team was already losing by a double-digit difference. After the halftime speech, a completely different home team entered the match and after the third quarter the difference was only one point and WKK completed the turnaround in the last quarter. In the end, WKK won by a nine-point difference.
On Sunday, Nitra confirms the gold medal win over Kangoo Basket Gorzów Wielkopolski . In Sunday's Czech derby Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek had a weaker moment. Thanks to the loss to Jížní Supi , they lost the chance to win a medal at the tournament. The third to fifth place was decided by the mini-table of three teams, namely Jížní Supi , WKK Wroclaw , Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek and the difference in scores from mutual matches. The team from the capital city of Prague was the best and thus won bronze medals. In the last match of the tournament, KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków clearly beat the home team and won silver medals.

AK Orly Wroclaw wins the U13 tournament
AK Orly Wroclaw wins the U13 tournament
The first match of the tournament was, as it turned out later, a fight for silver medals. The home team BA Young Diamonds challenged the German team Academy Potsdam , who arrived at the tournament with a tight rotation of only eight players. In the end, this turned out to be an advantage, as the players of the German team in a tight rotation performed well and the home team lost after a balanced end by a difference of three points. In the second match, the Slovak team BSC Bratislava clearly defeated the Polish team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski . The last match of the first round offered a Polish derby and the team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków will definitely not remember it well, as the team AK Orly Wroclaw sweetened their entry into the tournament properly and won by more than seventy points.
Saturday's program did not offer many close matches and no major twists. Wrolaw and Potsdam thus gained two victories. Krakow and Young Diamonds have a 1:1 record and the teams BSC and Ostrów Wielkopolski did the least well, finishing Saturday without a win.
On Sunday, the AK Orly Wroclaw team confirmed their gold medal win by defeating another Polish team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski . The drama unfolded in the second match, when Krakow thoroughly tormented the tired Potsdam players. Krakow dominated the match for more than half of the match with its best performance of the tournament, then made several mistakes and the lead turned over to the German team. Krakow tried to turn the match over to its side again. Potsdam finally defended its victory by just one point with all its might. Academy NH Ostrava wins the U13 tournament
Academy NH Ostrava wins the U13 tournament
The first round of matches did not bring any balanced results, so first they beat Academy NH Ostrava by a higher margin BCM Olomouc . In the second match, the Czech team Sršni Photomate Písek clearly defeated the Polish team UKS MOS Opole . Last year's winning team BC Swiss Krono Žary beat another Polish team Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków . The real dramas came in the afternoon program. First, Ostrava demolished Sršně z Písek for three quarters. Who would have expected that when Ostrava leads by 26 points after the third quarter, that there could be some drama? And it happened, the Sršni stabbed for their lives in the fourth quarter, but in the end it was not enough to win. The winner of last year's category sweated hard with BCM Olomouc team. Although Olomouc is several points behind throughout the match, it is still actively trying to turn the game in its favor, which it ultimately fails to do and loses by a difference of only one three-point shot.
On Saturday, a big battle took place in the first match, where Ostrava challenged Žara to a duel. The match was fierce, but perhaps less attractive to the spectators due to the low final score, where neither team managed to break the fifty-point mark. So, as they say, a duel of defenses. The first quarter ended peacefully, in the second quarter the Polish team gained a slight lead, which they cherished until the end of the third quarter. In the last quarter, the team from Ostrava made a big push, which thus won the "scalp" of the champion of this category. The other matches of the day offered results with a higher difference in score.
On Sunday, Žary clearly confirmed their silver medal win by defeating the Hornets from Písek. Olomouc won bronze over Krakow. And finally, in the last match of the tournament, Ostrava, playing in euphoria, clearly confirmed their victory in the tournament over the Polish team from Opole.

Gromy Nowy Tomyśl the winner of the U14 tournament
Gromy Nowy Tomyśl the winner of the U14 tournament
The first match was a duel between the home team BBA Komárno and the eventual winner - the Polish team Gromy Nowy Tomyśl . The first quarter was played in a cautious spirit and with an almost even score. In the second quarter, the Polish team took a significant lead that exceeded twenty points. After the half-time break, the home team set a higher pace and significantly reduced the deficit in the score, but they could not find the strength to turn it around and the Polish team won. In the second match between the team Fastav Zlín and BSC Bratislava the first quarter of the match determined the tone. Zlín probably still had thoughts on the road and gained a twenty-point deficit, which they carried on their shoulders throughout the match and because of that they lost their opening match. The last pair that entered the tournament were Beksa from Pardubice and the Ukrainian team BC Uzhhorod. Just as complicated was Beska's arrival by train to the tournament, so was her first match. The Czech team was clearly disorganized and the number of losses and mistakes gave them no chance of winning against the Ukrainian team. Beksa was also in another interesting match on Friday, where they greatly troubled the eventual tournament winner Gromy Nowy Tomyśl . In doing so, they immediately corrected their poor performance from the first match.
The Saturday program was dominated by the match between the Polish team Gromy Nowy Tomyśl . They first played a fantastic match against Zlín, which showed a heroic performance in this match, but in the end, thanks to a few small things, they did not achieve victory. In the afternoon program, another great match was played with the Slovak team BSC Bratislava . The Slovak team won the first quarter for themselves, the half belonged to the Polish team, after the third quarter BSC was again in the lead and in the end the Polish team celebrates victory. The match was both on a seesaw and more than heart-stopping for the spectators. The home team also wanted to speak about the overall standings and win one of the medals. First, they took on the Ukrainian team BC Uzhhorod with vigor. In the first half, they built a slight lead in the score, after the third quarter the score was even. In the last quarter, they fought for every ball and the Ukrainian team finally won. After this great match, they chose a weaker moment with Beksa from Pardubice. The home team played the first half in a good rhythm, then there was a slowdown and the second half was under the direction of the Pardubice team, which thus gained its first victory.
On Sunday, the Polish team Gromy Nowy Tomyśl had to fight hard to defend their victory in the tournament, and their tough opponent was the Ukrainian team BC Uzhhorod . The match was high-paced and committed, with many great performances and was fought until the last minute. Beksa managed to cope with Zlín and in the final match, which could no longer affect the standings in the BSC tournament, they defeated the home team.
Final tournament standings:
1. Gromy Nowy Tomyśl (Poland)
2. BSC Bratislava (Slovakia)
3. BC Uzhhorod (Ukraine)
4. BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice (Czech Republic)
5. BBA Komárno (Slovakia)

Photomate Písek Hornets win U12 tournament
Photomate Písek Hornets win U12 tournament
The tournament was introduced to us by the match between the home team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek and the Slovak team Strojár Malacky . The home team entered the match vigorously and left no one in doubt that they were going for victory, which they achieved relatively easily. The second match was the Polish derby between the teams Polonia Varšava and WKK Wroclaw . In the match, we watch a fight for every ball on the board, unexpectedly in this category we also see a combined zone defense for themselves, which the team from Warsaw wins. The last teams to enter the tournament are the teams Sršni Photomate Písek and SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . The Hornets use their stingers cautiously in the first half of the match, but still gain a double-digit lead in the score. In the second half of the match, however, the hornet swarm attacked Zastal with full verve and ultimately wins by a large margin.
The vast majority of the matches in this tournament brought relatively balanced results, but with relatively low scores. This can certainly be attributed to the beginning of the season, when the teams are just getting used to the new composition, and such a tournament at this time will certainly contribute to the quality entry into the national competitions of the individual teams. The decisive match for the ranking in this tournament will be played by the home team against the Hornets from Písek early Saturday morning. The beginning of the match was more about knocking down the opponents and trying to wake up to higher performance speeds. The second and third quarters offered a great duel, when at the end of the third quarter the difference was only one basket on the scoreboard. In the last quarter, however, the hornet swarm in the hive (hall) gained unprecedented momentum and in the end it was a double-digit win.
On Sunday, the favorites for medals win and defend their positions, the team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra had the most problems with their opponent. The Slovak team Strojár Malacky showed its best performance of the tournament and tormented the Polish team, proving that it definitely belongs in the CEYBL tournaments.
Final tournament standings:
1. Sršni Photomate Písek (Czech Republic)
2. Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek (Czech Republic)
3. SKM Zastal Zielona Góra (Poland)

Basketball Talents Potsdam wins the U17 tournament
Basketball Talents Potsdam wins the U17 tournament
Although only five teams participated in the tournament, it was all the more interesting and exciting. The very first match offered an interesting and dramatic spectacle. The home team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków challenged another Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball , to a duel. The home team entered the match better, but in the following period the situation on the board leveled off and after three quarters the score was even. After a great fight, Lublinianka won by a difference of five points. The second match between the teams Jížní Supi and BSC Bratislava also offered high-quality and balanced basketball. The team from Prague was finally happy with the victory. The last to join the tournament was the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam . Their opponent was the home team, which showed its best performance and defeated the eventual winner of the tournament after a great fight.
On Saturday, the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam played two interesting matches, initially losing to BSC Bratislava team for three quarters. The Slovak team showed that they did not come just to admire the sights of the historic city of Krakow and performed brilliantly. However, they could not withstand the pressure of the German team. They made several mistakes in the last quarter and Postsdam won. The second great match was played by the German team against Lublin. This match was the highlight of the tournament. Beautiful individual and team performances. In the end, the German team has more of the game and wins an important victory, which is ultimately key to winning gold medals. The last match of the evening brought a surprise. The home team lost to the Slovak team BSC Bratislava . The Slovak team built a small lead, patiently repelled the attacks of the home team and is therefore deservedly happy with the victory. The home team was not helped by the great atmosphere created by the fan club at their matches. From my point of view, quite a few injuries to key players of the individual teams also played a role in the results. We wish you a speedy recovery.
Only two matches were played on Sunday. In the first, Jížní Supi team only resisted the German Potsdam in the first half. In the second half of the match, the Vultures ran out of energy and received an unpopular "hundred". Potsdam thus confirms the gold medal win. Bratislava also only withstood the pace of Lublinianka in the first half. Lublinianka thus confirms the silver medal win with this victory.
Final tournament standings:
1. Basketball Talents Potsdam (Germany)
