The greatest quality at the tournament was shown by the WKK players, who managed to beat their opponents in all 5 matches and each time by a significant difference. The cup for first place is certainly in the right hands.

The silver also goes to Poland, to the SKM Zastal Zielona Góra team, which lost only to the winners.

After two losses on Friday BA Nymburk managed to win the remaining matches over the weekend, and the Central Bohemians thus joined the Polish teams on the podium.

The teams in 4th to 6th place have one win each, and thanks to a better score HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim is fourth. They are followed by Czech teams Levharti Chomutov and BA Young Diamonds .

At the beginning of the tournament, we unfortunately had to deal with a big inconvenience with the theft of our equipment from the hall, but in the end we managed to broadcast all the matches live, for which we are glad.

Already the first match of the home boys against Trnava showed who will be the clear favorite. Ostrava clearly had the upper hand in the next matches as well, and it was only in the last two matches that they found a more capable opponent. In the end, however, she won both of these duels with a difference of over 30 points.

Second place will be taken by Inter Bratislava , who are returning to our competitions after a hiatus. In the fight for silver, the Slovak boys managed to outplay the Polish team and newcomers to the NBA Jelenia Góra .

Another newcomer in the competition, namely BK Teplice finished just below the podium. The other ranks were occupied by long-standing participants, i.e. SKM Zastal Zielona Góra and Slávia Trnava teams.

This year's 5th season will be a record in terms of the number of participants and tournaments. A total of 62 teams will be represented in 4 traditional categories for boys. Let's introduce the individual categories.

Boys U13

The youngest category is boys born in 2011 and younger. 6 teams from the Czech Republic, 5 from Poland and 2 from Slovakia will compete in 7 tournaments.

Boys U14

This category is for boys born in 2010 and younger and you can look forward to 9 tournaments and 18 teams. 5 units are from the Czech Republic, 6 from Poland, 4 from Slovakia and 3 from Germany.

Boys U15

The most numerous category this season will be boys born in 2009 and younger. 19 teams will play 10 tournaments in the regular season and there are 8 teams from the Czech Republic, 7 from Poland and 2 each from Slovakia and Germany

Boys U17

The oldest category this year are boys born in 2007 and younger. 6 tournaments are prepared for 12 teams, which are distributed among the individual states as evenly as possible. 3 teams from the Czech Republic, 3 from Poland, 3 from Slovakia, 2 from Germany and 1 from Austria will participate in the competition.

Individual teams can be found in the menu for each category.

The competition system does not change, i.e. each team will play 3 tournaments in the basic part and then the best 6 teams (if there is no organizer among them, then 5 + the organizer) will advance to the final tournament.

The winner of the regular season, the Czech team Sršni Písek , should have been the paper favorite of the entire tournament. However, several of his players received an invitation to the national team on the same date, so the team arrived with the younger boys of the year 2007.

This ensured that more teams would be in contention for the win and the role of favorite fell to the second regular season team, Polish side WKK Wroclaw .

Wroclaw managed to win the first three matches to secure the final first place ahead of schedule. The last victory against the last Písek, which they grabbed only in the final seconds, gave her the most work.

The second place goes to Slovakia in the hands of BK Lokomotíva Sereď , which was not enough for the winner.

The fight for the third place brought great drama and in the end the bronze went to the home team ORLEN Akademia BM Stal , who pushed the Austrian Vienna DC Timberwolves by a single point difference.

The young boys Sršni Písek left the final without a victory, but with many valuable experiences.

The paper favorite of the entire tournament was the winner of the regular season Válečníci Děčín , who did not lose even once in the season. There were also high expectations from the Polish team WKK Wroclaw , which played with younger boys in the season, but brought a team made up of players of this category to the finals.

Well, it was the fight between these two teams that was the highlight of the entire tournament and it was a very dramatic and balanced match to watch. The Polish team won by a single point, so they can enjoy the overall first place. The only loss this year condemned Děčín to second place.

The bronze went to the host team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra , who presented themselves in very good form on the home scoreboard. On the contrary, this final did not go well at all for another of the favorites, the Austrian BBLZ - Reach the Top, who ended up in last place without a win. Thanks to the win in the mutual match, the Slovak team ŠBK Handlová got ahead of them, who accepted the invitation to the final as a substitute and thus completed the lineup of five participants.

The best form from Germany was brought by the players of Science City Jena , who managed to win all three duels. They played the closest match at the end of the tournament with the home team, when they won by 5 points.

The second place remains in the Czech Republic for the Sokol Pražský team, which accepted the invitation to participate in the tournament outside the competition.

The Slovak team Diawin Košice takes third place for one win from three matches.

The last place without the joy of victory was left to the organizing team BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice .

A number of balanced duels, including double overtime, were seen in Chomutov. As many as 7 games ended with a difference of up to 8 points, and several times it was by a single basket.

Válečníci Děčín confirmed their role as favorites and managed all the matches without any major complications, thus sovereignly dominating the last tournament of the regular season. The current Czech multiple champions are thus the main contenders to win in the final tournament, but the final is a separate tournament and so nothing is clear in advance.

The second place belongs to the Austrian group BBLZ - Reach the Top , which lost only to the winner here. However, the third team Thuringia Select Team managed to defeat only after the second overtime.

Great drama awaited the Germans even in the duel with the home team Levharti Chomutov , and in the end they won with a difference of only one basket and were happy with the bronze. The unpopular fourth place was left for the hosts.

ADFORS Basket Litomyšl and WKK Wroclaw caught the tournament in their weakest form. Both scored one victory each, but thanks to a better match against each other, the team from the Czech Republic ended up in 5th place.

The matches in the group have already shown that the German and Polish teams are great contenders for the overall triumph, after all, they both won their basic groups. While HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim also managed their semi-final against Válečníci Děčín without major problems, the later winner trailed Sršni Písek in the semi-final for three quarters. In the end, they managed to turn around in the final part, and perhaps this experience hardened them before the match for gold.

The final duel developed better for HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim for a long time, but in the same way as in the semi-finals, the players BC Swiss Krono Žary did not give up and in the end they managed to turn the lead over to their side.

In the Czech fight for third place Sršni Písek were finally happy, beating the third team of the regular season, Válečníci Děčín .

In fifth place is another Czech team BK Brandýs nad Labem , which played against the boys from Poland from SKM Zastal Zielona Góra team in the double match of the third teams from the groups.

Even the second final tournament after the U15 category showed what charge this format and the culmination of the season brings. It was the play-off matches, and in this case especially the final itself, that were really worth it and brought great drama and real emotions.

The final tournament of the U15 category in the beautiful surroundings of the WKK Center in Wroclaw, Poland, turned paper assumptions upside down. Also due to the fact that some teams were not complete and, on the contrary, others arrived with a stronger lineup than they played in the regular part, two teams made it to the finals, which only went from 5th and 6th place after the regular part. On the contrary, in the regular season, undefeated Wroclaw was playing for third place, and second place Stargard was left to fight for the 5th place.

The teams were divided into two groups on the basis of position after the long period, in which even and dramatic matches were seen.

In the very first duel of the tournament between WKK Wroclaw and BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice extra time had to be decided. Another drama was the responsibility of the home team, which lost to Slovakian AKAPO Lučenec by a single basket.

In group B, the most dramatic fight for the first place in the group was in which SKM Zastal Zielona Góra beat the German team Dresden Titans again by just two points.

Two teams that played a double match for the final 5th place did not reach the semi-finals. In both duels, the players BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice rejoiced at the victory, pushing PGE Spójnia Stargard to the last place.

In the first semi-final, two Polish teams, who know each other very well, met each other, and in the end SKM Zastal Zielona Góra was happy to advance to the final. On the other hand, for home team WKK Wroclaw only the fight for bronze remained.

The second German-Slovak semi-final brought a dramatic and balanced fight, and the boys AKAPO Lučenec were happier and a bit better in it, who overpowered Dresden Titans .

In the match between the two disappointed semi-finalists, the players of the host club found more energy and took advantage of the fact that Dresden Titans still had a tough semi-final duel in their legs in the evening. The bronze remained at home and the fourth place goes to Germany.

The final was a real highlight of this season in this category, when great and balanced basketball was played from the first to the last minute. In the last quarter, the players AKAPO Lučenec were able to bounce back slightly from their opponent from SKM Zastal Zielona Góra and did not let go of the lead
