Děčín did not find a conqueror in U14 even for the second time
Děčín did not find a conqueror in U14 even for the second time
The penultimate tournament of the regular season significantly indicated which 6 teams could participate in the final tournament. However, we still have the last stop in Chomutov, and he can make a decision about some of the advancing players there.
But back to the tournament, which took place in Handová and which was clearly dominated by Válečníci Děčín , when even this time they did not find a conqueror and with a 100% balance they still lead the table.
Second place goes to Austria's team BBLZ - Reach the Top , who lost to the winner Děčín by only 6 points, and this promises their next dramatic encounter, which is on the program in Chomutov.
The fight for bronze brought a huge drama, when all three teams had the same balance. Sokol Pražský needed to beat BA Nymburk with a difference of at least 15 points in the final game, which he managed to do exactly with two sixes 3 seconds before the end. He pushed his opponent to 4th place. The players SKM Zastal Zielona Góra finished behind the two Czech teams.
The home boys of ŠBK Handlová did not do very well in the tournament, their key player was injured on Saturday and they had an even harder time without him. Without a victory, they took the final 6th place.

Crailsheim dominated the last U13 tournament
Crailsheim dominated the last U13 tournament
As they say, luck favors the prepared, and the German team HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was clearly the best prepared. After all, it is worth watching the end of the opening duel, in which the eventual winner defeated the home team with a shot from almost half the pitch with the final horn.
However, it was not their only victory by a single basket, as they beat the Válečníci Děčín by 2 points, for whom it was the only loss in the tournament, and thus took home the silver. Děčín, on the other hand, chose his luck at the end of the final duel, when he beat the home team again by 2 points with his last shot.
The organizers of the tournament BK Brandýs nad Labem could be described as the biggest losers, as they lost to both teams above them by the last shot. Let the bronze crossbar be a small patch for these balanced but lost endings.
The fourth place goes to Poland to the SKM Zastal Zielona Góra team, which is certainly pleased with the fact that, thanks to the win in the last match, it was able to slip to the overall 6th place and thus slip into the final tournament.
The fifth place is taken by the players Sršni Písek , who were not in very good shape this tournament and fell to 5th place in the overall table.
Unfortunately, even on the third attempt, Slávia Trnava was unable to claim victory and this year ends without a point, even though the players certainly gained a lot of valuable experience.

The German team played three out of five games in the tournament, which ended with a difference of only one basket, and already after Saturday's program secured victory in the tournament. The final loss to the Thuringia Select Team could not change anything about their victory, but it really messed up the ranking on the other ranks, where the mini-table decided.
It was certain that WKK Wroclaw would take up to 4th place thanks to this, and the rest of the order was to be decided by the last duel of the tour between the host ADFORS Basket Litomyšl and Tigers České Budějovice. He determined that the silver will stay at home and condemned the defeated team to 5th place. The second German team, Thuringia Select Team , pushed through to third place.

Only 5 teams came to Poland for this tournament, so each team had one game less than usual. However, this did not in any way reduce the commitment with which the players went into the match, rather the opposite. Physically demanding and intense basketball was played and there were many balanced and dramatic duels.
The first such match was Friday's match between Sršni Písek and BK Lokomotíva Sereď , which had to be decided by extra time. In the other matches, Písek did not allow a similar drama and won the third tournament in a row without defeat.
