This year, the final tournament will feature a new system. Eight teams will be competing in two groups of four. The seeding into the groups will be based on the team's placement in the preliminary round. After the preliminary round, only one match will be played for placement. Therefore, if a team wants to play for gold medals, it must win the group.

In group "A" we can watch the battles of the teams NINERS Chemnitz Academy , Weegree AZS Opole , Lublinianka KUL Basketball and AK Ostrów 1947 U16, the younger home team that joined the tournament after Vienna withdrew. Group "B" includes the teams AK Ostrów 1947 , KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków , ŠBK Galaxy Košice and Jížní Supi .

In group "A" the younger home team AK Ostrów 1947 U16 loses heavily to another Polish team Weegree AZS Opole . Even in the second match of this group the difference in score was huge, when the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy had no mercy with the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball . The "A" group offered a balanced match only in the last match of the day. Here the teams Opole and Lublinianka meet. A very balanced match, where little things decide for themselves, is ultimately won by the team from Opole with a difference of six points. On Saturday, it is worth mentioning the match for first place in the group between the teams from Chemnitz and Opole. In the end, the difference in score is too cruel for the Polish team, which fought throughout the match and did not leave the German team even a meter of the board free. Chemnitz eventually wins by more than twenty-five points.

In group "B" the home team AK Ostrów 1947 first defeats the Slovak team ŠBK Galaxy Košice . In the second match the Polish team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków quite comfortably wins over the Czech team Jížní Supi . Everything important in this group will happen on Saturday. Here first Korona loses to the Košice team. Korona relied too much on individual play in the end unlike Košice and that was the deciding factor. The last match of the group shook the order, when Jížní Supi team quite unexpectedly but deservedly defeated the Košice team. A mini table of three teams was created here, which brings nothing to the South Supi despite the win over the team from Košice, on the contrary this result helped Korona into the fight for the bronze medals and on the contrary sent Košice into the fight for the fifth place.

On Sunday we play for the position. First, the team Jížní Supi defeats the younger home team AK Ostrów 1947 U16 . In the match for fifth place, the disappointment of Košice was too great and the enthusiasm of the Lublinians was maximum, so the Polish team leaves the tournament with a win. In the match for bronze, Korona pulled the "short ends of the rope" in the minimal first half of the match in a duel with the Opole team. Subsequently, the concentration improved and despite the stiff resistance of Opole KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków defended the victory and the bronze medals. The grand final is initially controlled by the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy , which, however, faces enormous pressure from the home team AK Ostrów 1947 . The pressure from the home team does not stop and the German team slowly succumbs to the atmosphere supported by the noisy audience. Absolutely great performances by both teams corresponding to this category. In the end, AK Ostrów 1947 managed to use their home environment to win the gold medal, and the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy won the silver medal.

In the opening match of the tournament, two Czech teams Sokol Pražský and CB Basketball , meet. The match full of inaccuracies was better handled by the team from Prague. In the second match, two Slovak teams Slávia Trnava and BK Inter Bratislava , meet. And the latter team wins a big victory. And finally, we have the "derby" of the Polish teams Jura Basket TS Wisła and SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . This match was also relatively clear-cut and was practically decided halfway through the match.

On Saturday morning, the favorites confirm their positions and win big. In the afternoon program, Trnava shows what is probably its best performance in the tournament and is a balanced opponent of Zastal for at least half of the matches. Although it does not win the match, it leaves a good impression on its fans. Perhaps the biggest surprise that shook the tournament table occurred at the end of the day at the expense of the Czech team Sokol Pražský . The Polish team Jura Basket TS Wisła surprised with an active game and in the middle of the match it was almost evenly matched. In the third quarter, the players of the Polish team receive warnings from the referees that they will be punished for "passing" reactions during defensive contacts of the Czech team. Paradoxically, this kicked the Polish team players into a better game and they counterattack with a 10:0 point streak, which practically decided the match, since "SOPR" could not react to this and its game practically fell apart.

Sunday's first match was supposed to be a formality according to "paper assumptions", but it didn't happen. Spectators had the opportunity to watch the drama until the last second. CB Basketball performance has been continuously growing since Friday's match with the Czech team Sokol Pražský in the tournament and culminated in the match with the Polish team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . The Polish team gained a slight lead in the first quarter, but CB Basketball turned the lead over to their side halfway through the match. After the third quarter, the Polish team takes a slight lead again. The match reaches an even and dramatic ending in the last quarter, which the Polish team ultimately manages better and confirms the silver medal with a two-point victory. In the next match, Inter defeats the struggling SOPR at a leisurely pace. The coach of the Slovak team and his players had the match so under control that the coach did not have to get up from his chair for the entire match. BK Inter Bratislava thanks to the victory in this match and the overall score of 5:0, wins gold medals and a ticket to The Finals of this category. In the last match of the tournament, Trnava could have mixed the final standings, but they failed to do so and after a solid performance they lost to the Polish team Jura Basket TS Wisła .

In the opening match, the home team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra convincingly defeated the weakened Slovak team Nitra Blue Wings Academy . In the second match of group "A" we watch the duel of the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy with the Czech team BK Gapa Hradec Králové , who arrived at the tournament as a "paper outsider". However, the opposite is true and the Czech team amazes with its game and after a balanced course wins its first victory in the tournament. On Saturday we will record a match where Chemnitz tries to join the fights for medals and shows its best performance in the tournament in a duel with the home team. The latter really worked hard for the win and had to fight for its position throughout the match.

In group "B", the Polish team Gromy Nowy Tomyśl has to fight hard for its position with the Ukrainian team BC Uzhhorod . The Ukrainian team also arrived at the tournament quite incomplete, but this was not at all noticeable in this match. The match went to the end, where the Polish team showed more experience and won by six points. The afternoon program of this group was closed by the match of the "heavyweights" of the Slovak team BSC Bratislava and the Polish team Gromy Nowy Tomyśl . Both teams enter the tournament with only one defeat in the entire regular season of the competition. BSC also counted losses on its roster before the tournament, but for most of the match it was almost invisible. The "break of bread" occurred only after the last quarter of the match. The difference in the score after the third quarter was only three points. However, Nowy Tomyśl managed to increase the lead to twelve points in the last quarter and win. On Saturday, the table was thoroughly shaken by the victory KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków over Gromy Nowy Tomyśl . After BSC's win over Uzhhorod, we find ourselves in a situation where three teams have the same record of wins and losses. The mini-table of the three teams must decide. In it, Krakow has the worst score, which will therefore play for fifth place. However, BSC has the same score as Nowy Tomyśl on one point and must decide the rule of the head-to-head match, where the Polish team was better, which thus advances to the fight for the gold medals. BSC must accept the fight for the bronze medals.

On Sunday, tired Nitra loses in the battle for seventh place to Uzhhorod. In the match for fifth place, Krakow surpassed Chemnitz after a balanced match. In the battle for third place, enthusiastically playing Hradec Králové met with the disappointed Slovak team BSC. And suddenly, from an underestimated "outsider" of the tournament, we have a deserved bronze medalist. And the tournament closes with a grand final between the home team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra and the Gromy Nowy Tomyśl team, which, after "winning" the battle at the "green table", wants to dominate the final duel. It is a handsome duel, supported by a great spectator backdrop. However, the home team showed a calmer hand in finishing, solid defense and a cool head in the key moments of this battle and thus defends the championship in its category from last year.

Finally, it is fitting to thank the home team of organizers and volunteers for the warm welcome of the teams in Ziolene Góra. Special thanks to the main organizer of the home club, Mr. Robert Morkowski, who, even in times when it was difficult for us, was full of contagious positive energy.

The opening match of the tournament was played by the Czech team Snakes Ostrava, who played against the Polish team MKS Strzelce Opolskie . The match was evenly matched throughout, but the Polish team had "more of the game" and eventually won by a difference of ten points. In the second match of the day, the Polish team WKK Wroclaw had a better start to the tournament than the Czech team Válečníci Děčín . The Polish team won a fairly comfortable win by twenty-four points. In the third match, the German team HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was not enough for the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves . In the afternoon program, Válečníci Děčín entered the match against the Polish team MKS Strzelce Opolskie well. However, the Polish team counterattacked halfway through the match and took the initiative in the second half and finally won by six points despite the great efforts of the Czech team.

On Saturday we have the opportunity to watch most of the matches with a higher point difference. Spectators can enjoy the dramatic match only at the end of the day. It was a Czech derby between the teams Snakes Ostrava and Válečníci Děčín. A very combative match as befits and deserves. In the end, the snakes from Ostrava "suffocate" the warriors from Děčín and win by six points.

On Sunday, the Polish team MKS Strzelce Opolskie did not spare the German team HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim and confirmed the silver medal with a big win. In the second match, the Polish team WKK Wroclaw defeated the Czech team Snakes Ostrava in a similar way and won the gold medals. The Czech team won the bronze medals. In the last match of the tournament, the Czech team Válečníci Děčín defeated the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves . And even if it was not enough for a medal, it is always better to go home from the tournament with a win "in your pocket" than with a defeat.

The tournament opens with a match between the home team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek and the Polish team Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków . And we start off on a high note. A very even match, where the home team keeps closing the minimal lead of Krakow throughout, which they ultimately fail to do in the end and the Polish opponent wins by three points. In the second match of the group, we also watch the Czech-Polish duel between the teams BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice and AK Orly Wroclaw . Here too, it was a fight for every ball and in the end, the Polish team is happy again after winning by twelve points. On Saturday, "Beksa" gets a chance to fight for the opportunity to play for medals in the next match with Krakow, thanks to the win over Basketpoint. And Beksa is the better team throughout the first half of the match. It adapts well to the opponent's aggressive defense. However, in the second half, the Krakow players increase the speed and slowly take over the reins of the match. They eventually break this in their favor and can rejoice in advancing to the match for third place.

Even in group "B" it is pretty "dense" right from the start. In the opening match, the teams NEFROMEDICA UKS SP27 Katovice and Sršni Photomate Písek meet. And the Czech team, true to its name, uses the stings very skillfully and in the first half of the match is the better team on the field. Halfway through the match, the sponsor of Katowice ( NEFROMEDICA ) apparently gave their players high-quality tablets to repel hornets. Suddenly, the hornet stings seem ineffective and Katowice have much more of the game. The Polish team completes the turnaround in the match and wins by a difference of five points. In the second match of the group, the Polish team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra will feel the power of the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy . Halfway through the match, the result is almost decided. Chemnitz wins by a higher margin. On Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere could be cut, because the duel between Písek and Zielona Góra was truly heart-stopping and full of emotions. The decisions are made by the smallest details and the players of Písek have more peace in their hands, who book a win by two points. And the Czech team, encouraged by the win over Zielona Góra, is also rampaging in the match with Chemnitz. Its players fight with the favorite and for more than half of the match they are the better team. In the second half, "bodies" decide. Chemnitz has two players who physically escape this category and show their potential and dominance in the second half of the match. So, after a brave fight, the Hornets finally lose by fifteen points, which is a truly cruel result for them considering the course of the match.

On Sunday we play for the position. First, the home team defeats the Polish team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra in the fight for seventh place. In the match for fifth place, "Beksa" defeats Písek, who could no longer find the strength to perform better after the heroic performance in Saturday's match with Chemnitz. The fight for third place between the Polish teams Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków and NEFROMEDICA UKS SP27 Katovice was an advertisement for quality youth basketball throughout. However, in the end, the team from Katowice made several bad decisions and lost the match by a difference of nine points, even though a minute before the end the scoreboard showed a draw. And we have a big final left. For three quarters, Chemnitz could not find a recipe for the active and aggressive defense of the Polish team AK Orly Wroclaw . They managed to do it only in the last quarter and finally won by eight points. Every fan can only wish for such a great end to the tournament.

Finally, it is fitting to thank the fans who arrived at the tournament in great style and, with the exception of minor excesses, created a great and sporting atmosphere. And above all, thanks to all the tournament organizers from the home club Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek , who ensured the smooth running of the tournament and made all the "guests" feel welcome.

The home team MKS Basket Szczawno Zdrój surprised another Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw , in the opening match. Throughout the match, Slask looked like they were still on the bus, and even though the match ended in a draw, the home team defended their win by three points. In the second match, the Polish team UKS MOS Opole won comfortably over the Czech team Jížní Supi after a draw at halftime. Although BCM Olomouc had a shorter journey to Szczawno Zdrój than the Slovak team BSC Bratislava , they looked more tired on the field and lost by almost thirty points. Olomouc made up for their loss from the opening match in the evening duel with the Polish team UKS MOS Opole . The match was like a seesaw, but Olomouc managed the end better and won by six points.

Saturday starts with an offensive match between the home team and the Slovak team BSC. The players of the Slovak team are more "charged" and win by eight points. The second match of the day between the Polish teams WKS Slask Wroclaw and UKS MOS Opole is a fight for every ball, every meter of the board and the first one did it better and won by seven points.

On Sunday, BSC really ruffled the feathers of the players of the Jížní Supi team and they are packing a heavy defeat on their way home. Slask is also not very good with Olomouc and even the other Czech team is going home with a heavy defeat. In the last match of the tournament, there will be another big, but deserved surprise, when the home team loses quite heavily to UKS MOS Opole team.

In the opening match, the home team WKK Wroclaw "warmed up" slightly against the Czech team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek . The second match of the tournament between the German team Academy Potsdam and the Polish team NBA Jelenia Góra was much more dramatic. In the first half of the match, Potsdam is ahead by several points. However, NBA does not give up and after a powerful onslaught, it catches up with the German team at the end of the third quarter. In the last quarter, Potsdam wins by a single point. In the third match of the day, the Czech team Slavoj BK Litoměřice defeats the German team VR Bank Würzburg Akademie . Friday evening closes the match between NBA Jelenia Góra and Slavoj BK Litoměřice . Here, the decision will be made only after overtime in favor of the Polish team. This match was subsequently also key for determining the medal standings. In any case, such matches are an adornment and advertisement for basketball in this category. Great individual performances, big shots and a great atmosphere.

On Saturday, Basketpoint fights bravely against the NBA in the morning program. However, the Polish team is luckier in the end, as it wins by two points. The next match is another big fight, this time between Litoměřice and Potsdam. The Czech team maintains a small single-digit lead throughout the match and ultimately wins by a difference of six points. No one has enough exciting matches, so this trend continues in the match between the NBA and the German team VR Bank Würzburg Akademie . Here, the Polish team wins, but the German team took the lead several times during the match and the match was like a seesaw. A real strain on the "heart chambers" of the fans of both teams. As an extra, we can offer the match between Basketpoint and Potsdam, where we can congratulate ourselves that there is a permanent medical service at CEYBL tournaments, as it was again a heart attack match. Potsdam recorded the second unsuccessful end of three matches and lost it by a difference of eight points.

On Sunday, Potsdam continues to spoil its statistics of equal endings when it fails to manage another match, this time with VR Bank Würzburg Akademie . Litoměřice wins in a direct confrontation for the bronze medal with Basketpoint and only thanks to Friday's loss to NBA does the silver medal slip through their fingers. In the first match of the tournament, the home team BK Brandýs nad Labem did not put up much resistance against the Slovak team ŠBK Galaxy Košice . Similarly, the German team Science City Jena did not play nice with the Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw in the second match. The third match of the tournament was much more interesting. The match between the Polish team AK Ostrów 1947 and the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves was initially in the hands of the Polish team, which held a lead of almost twenty points at half time. However, the Austrian team did not give up, fought hard and lost only six points at the end of the third quarter. They could not find the strength to turn things around and lost by a difference of eight points. In the end, even a win did not help Košice to win a medal, as they recorded the worst score in the mini-table of three teams. Vienna also wanted to have a say in the medal standings and played a great match with the Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw . And even if they take the win for the medal positions, it was not enough. The tournament ends with the home team's match with Jena. And the German team left no one in doubt that they are going for victory. This is confirmed and Science City Jena wins gold medals at this tournament.

The tournament was played in an unconventional way with five participants. In the first match, the home team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski resisted the eventual winner AK Orly Wroclaw for less than half an hour. However, they subsequently lost heavily. The second match was already very interesting. The match between the Czech team Válečníci Děčín and the Polish team WKK Wroclaw was a real "carving". After a bad start to the match, the Polish team patiently erased the lead of the warriors from Děčín. After the third quarter, the scoreboard showed a difference of only one point for the warriors. In the last quarter, they fought for every ball and in the end WKK won by a single basket. In the last match of the day, AK Orly Wroclaw outclassed the Slovak team MBA Prievidza .

Válečníci Děčín apparently like dramatic matches, so they indulge in them in Saturday's program with the home team. Throughout the match, the difference in the score is absolutely minimal. This time, however, the Czech team is happy with a victory by four points. Such a match should be included in the category - must-see.

Sunday offered only two matches. However, fans of all the teams involved will certainly not be bored and will certainly have a lot of experiences and emotions. First, we have the match for the bronze medal between Děčín and Prievidza on the menu. And Děčín spoiled the score in the finals of the match to 1:2 and the Slovak team wins the bronze medal. In the last match of the tournament, the home team, after a disastrous start to the match, really tormented WKK Wroclaw . WKK fought their way to a three-point win after a dramatic end to the match, thus confirming the silver medal. The gold went to a certain team AK Orly Wroclaw , which already had the necessary four wins on Saturday.

Friday's program brought a match with a larger point difference. First, the home team ŠBK Galaxy Košice easily dealt with the Polish team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski 'B' . The second match between the Czech team BK Opava and the Polish team PGE Giek Turów Zgorzelec was not as clear-cut as the first match of the tournament, but it was still basically decided at halftime. AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski 'B' did not succeed in the tournament in the second match in the derby with another Polish team BC Swiss Krono Žary , but it cannot be denied that it had an improved performance than in the match with the home team.
